    Comments: I'm looking up this subjet, regarding sentencing (if they are harsh enought for the crime commited) in my french class at my high school. My class and I are very, say, disturbed about how easily a serial Murderer and/or rapist can be free without even parole!!! (Karla Hamolka for example) I believe that with the discovery of new evidence, the Plea Bargain and/or thrial that proceided the findings should be cancelled, even if the judge had ruled the sentencing, and that they be tried with all new knoledge that specificaly and clearly show the involvement of the convicted in the crime(s) they are being tryed for !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sentencing in cananda MUST be re-evaluated !!! Jessica Perrier

    Comments: hello april! the idea to penalise people with time, with fine, rehabilitation; these who have commited grievous offence; rape, murder; which are not covered by atonement procedure of god, is the idol of slander in the temple; a reversal of sense; and a promotion of rape, murder; also active sexual exploitation of female population by male agreement. this situation will not stop until solid martial law stops it; strict security measures are inacted; for instance to stop it; would entail a broad act of social welfare; to give women sufficient monies to exist upon, devoid of dependence of males, and children greater childrights avoiding adoption and each given an apartment with a reviewing officer upon them to provide essential educations. otherwise a nice death setence upon these all whom commit these crimes. i wish u well in your appeal to sense, kaja von ericc

    Comments: I got sick to my stomach yesterday when i heard the sentencing of Darcy Bannart (edmonton)he will be spending 5 more yrs in jail for the abuse and rape of his girlfriends daughter. They say its the worst case they have seen in edmonton, yet he got a total of 8 yrs (only 5 left to serve) I now believe that who ever makes the laws in our country must be child molesters or rapists.
