Comments: Stop Oympyian Extension. It is not needed and is a total waste of money and an outrageous use of prime agriculture land to say nothing of destroying historical value.

Comments: Alternatives to constructing Olympian Drive thru agricultural land must be found. This is an important environmental and historical issue. Rantoul is a much better choice and needs the economic benefit.

Comments: A reconsideration of plans made in the previous decade to determine whether they are still appropriate for the present seems like an obvious requirement and a step that could prevent waste.

Comments: Extending Olympian Drive is completely inappropriate given the need to contain (and eventually eliminate) sprawl, reduce the energy needed for transportation (by making our urban areas more compact and concentrated, filling in existing urban space), support locally-produced food (which is fresher and requires less energy for transport, as well as significantly enhancing the local economy), and preserve agricultural land to feed ourselves and future generations. The prime agricultural land of Champaign County is too precious to pave!
