Name: Charles I. Delman on Oct 5, 2009Comments: Extending Olympian Drive is completely inappropriate given the need to contain (and eventually eliminate) sprawl, reduce the energy needed for transportation (by making our urban areas more compact and concentrated, filling in existing urban space), support locally-produced food (which is fresher and requires less energy for transport, as well as significantly enhancing the local economy), and preserve agricultural land to feed ourselves and future generations. The prime agricultural land of Champaign County is too precious to pave!Flag
