Comments: we both agree that the they are getting carried away with the lot fees, pretty soon it will cost as much for lot fees as it does for the mortgage, we are thinking about selling now before it gets much higher.

Comments: We love living here..my children love it. But yes...we are thinking of moving too. We moved here to be able to afford all that life can bring..with two boys...but with the lot rent going up - along with everything else..it is becoming hard. It is hard to budget long term when they don't even place a date on when to expect the nice lot rent hike. If they wish to keep this park as a "place to be" then they should be fair and honest with us as to when we should expect the next hike and also show us where our lot rent money goes in some form of a budget. Put some accountability in the hike!

Comments: To start off the New Year - I believe this petition is great.. First of all, if you live in Pine Tree, I'm sure you don't even need to hear a "comment" because I'm sure you have a dozen of your own.. Anyhow, I totally agree with the non-sense in having to pay LOT FEE + PROPERTY TAXES (which I might add are actually higher than some people I know who live right in town and have a big house on the land!!!).. Secondly, if one morgages a LAND ONLY for 25 years at $220 a month - they end up paying a land of $66,000 !!! Anyone believe these small lots are worth this much ! ~ Thought so.. ~ Moving is in the near future for a lot of us !! Pretty sad for a nice place to live and raise a family..

Comments: The Price for lot rent is WAY TOO HIGH...in addition to the property taxes we have to pay every year, we shouldn't have to pay this much for our lot rents...And our driveways aren't even cleared during winter...We're all FED-UP with this increase...Do something about it.........

Comments: I agree, I've been living here for 4 years, for some reason Killiam Property's aren't justifying putting up another $20 last year.. As they TRIED to justify on the last the one that's coming in April. They promising service that no ones needs. They can start on the water treatment for the park. SInce Killiam property's gained ownership they are just trying to make a profit on their investment and doing NOTHING for the community. As a community we should all stand together and fight this BS move.

Comments: In 2008 the Lot Rent is suppost to be going up to $260 per month. So you say that their is 700 Mini Homes in the Park.....well if you look at the money they are making (182,000 per month) and almost (2,184,000 in a full year). I fell like it's left me with no choice but to swallow what " the park" shoves down their throat. I fell like i'm being used because i'm getting screwed with out a Kiss.... Chris Pollock

Comments: We have been here 4 years and other than our street being paved which took 2 years, nothing has changed. Our ditches overflows whenever it rains and our backyard has a drainage problem. Issues we have brought to the park's attention but to no avail. The park they promised last spring has yet to even begin construction and they want us to pay more! For what!

Comments: If we have to pay another increase in lot rent, why are the roads not being kept clear of snow on stormy days, when it was privately owned the roads were always kept clear in a storm. If an emergency arises on a stormy day, good luck to an emergency vehicle trying to get in the park. This is what we pay lot rent for and they are not keeping up snow removal.

Comments: I am really upset that I pay property tax+mortage+lot rent and I do the same maintenance as my sister who lives in a house in Riverview and pays less property tax than I do and her monthly payments are about $100 less than mine ... she has a lot more space in her house than I do in my Mini Home....and where is that park / sports center at the end of Southpine we were promised....(the reason for the last lot rent increase...we were told at the time) and a rec center...oh you mean the office space they had no need for when Killiam took over because their offices are downtown!!!! They are making it unaffortable here...but they don't care because even if I move out...my house is still here so they will get lot rent from some other sucker that moves in :(
