Comments: Good cause. My child is just fine. He's 7, and collects "Heroclix" and has Power Rangers Ninja Storm figures!

Comments: Very good points. Surprising that a teenager wrote this. I like to actually trust/parent my two children without people telling us how we should raise our kids. My son, 11, has seen all three Matrix movies, and he doesn't manipulate what he saw into violence. He just talks about how "awesome it was", and that's it. I won't allow my daughter to see them until she is 11 or 12 (she is currently 10).

Comments: I'm a friend of the maker of this petition. I think that most kids are mature enough to see a violent movie/game or play with an action figure, and not kill people. Gore is not usually done by kids sorry to say LL.

Comments: In my experience it is the small minded bigots that create 'lists' of what they believe should and should not be available to others that are the ones with a propensity to violence and hatred. leave people to choose for themselves. All the surveys that link delinquancy with toys and cartoons are deeply flawed in my view, as they always miss out on the most important fact. Kids that are raised by parents that spend time and effort on bringing up the kids they have rarely have behaviour problems with them. However kids that are left alone all the time to watch cartoons or R rated movies or indeed games for teens and above some times do. The problem is with the parents not the toys or games. Good parents generally raise good kids. Bad parents generallly raise bad ones. Don't blame the toys.

Comments: I am a parent and I do not take kindly to being told what is suitable or unsuitable as a toy to by the children in my family. It is up to ME and my partner to make those choices and nobody else. People may disagree with those choices, everyone is entitled to an opinion, but I will not have that opinion forced upon me by anyone.

Comments: Movie's like Spider-man are what we grew up on as kids! The cartoon wasn't violent, and a fake fictional on screen death won't cause trauma.
