| 16801 | Ann harvey | Noise and air pollution will go up and increase environmental destruction and raise the level of stress and illness for people living in the area |

| 16804 | Mrs E Taylor | It is absolutely diabolical that people living in the area of Heathrow and its associated flight paths should be subjected to ever more air pollution and traffic noise. The safety issues are also worrying. Why are we considering expanding an airport in such a densely populated area? I live in Devon but I fully empathise with the fears of people living in the west London area and suburbs. |
| 16805 | Mick Greenwood | A third runway is a ludicrous proposition, financially, ecologically, socially, plus the impact on health from noise, allergies and continuing research into the effects on the nervous system.
Given global conditions, both economic and environmental both for the immediate and foreseeable future, this expansion is pure madness, and we the people say no to it. MG |
| 16806 | richard podger | Why is our government so obstinate in the face of tremendous opposition? Why are most of the Labooutr MPs such wimps that they did not vote against this in parliament? |

| 16812 | rob esdaile | What we need is the virtual cessation of UK internal flights from London (certainly those to Manchester and other mainland English destinations) and a new high speed rail link to the North - probably using the alignment of the old Great Central Railway to Manchester. How long before a plane crashes into the London conurbation while en route for Heathrow? |
| 16813 | Sabine Gabrysch | It is not enough to pass nice bills promising reduction in greenhouse gases, action is needed! Expanding airports is definitely in the wrong direction!
Sincerely,
Sabine Gabrysch |

| 16815 | Melanie Woodcock | The expansion is already destroying local villages such as Sipson that have been there over 1000 years - it is now threatening to destroy a wider area of south west london from an environmental basis. Not to menmtion theincreased risk of air collision. |
| 16816 | Matthew Woodcock | I want my sons to grow up in a green & pleasant area, such that it is now, we need no further expansion whatsoever. |
| 16817 | Anonymous | NO MORE FLIGHTS - WE NEED MORE HIGH SPEED TRAINS TO TRAVEL FROM THE HEATHROW AREA AROUND THE UK AND TO EUROPE. |

| 16827 | Josh Hodkinson | Totally unacceptable. The cons outweigh the pros in this case and there are too many heartless government ministers who seemingly have no regard for the welfare of those who live in that area. |

| 16835 | Anonymous | Good luck getting this expansion stopped. |
| 16836 | Patrick Lyford | Why build a 3rd runway when, in 20 years, air travel will be so expensive due to high oil prices and scarcity of oil that very few will use it . |
| 16837 | Anonymous | I HATE HEATHROW AIRPORT
NO 3RD RUNWAY
