| 16751 | Annette Oliver | The environmental damage of air travel needs restricting. |
| 16752 | Joanne Nelson | Pollution,[ noise or air] recession, the uprooting of communities are all effects of this proposed expansion. It not necessary nor is it being demanded by businesses such as TNT and DHL. who are downshifting their operations. Air traffic should be discouraged not encouraged or silently supported. |

| 16761 | Katerina SW7 | Ask most people who live in London and they will tell you that besides "green reasons" they simply hate planes flying over their homes like taxis, every minute! |
| 16762 | Ryan D | By having constant traffic over our heads you are subjecting us to pollution and possible accidents. |

| 16778 | Waseem Baloch | The world desperately needs alternatives to air travel, especially short-haul air travel, in order to seriously address climate change issues.
If the true cost of damage to the climate were added as a "climate tax" to the cost of air tickets, would there really be the demand for air travel that would justify the 3rd runway? The costs of damage to the climate and the ensuing costs have to be paid by someone - why not those that cause the damage?! |
| 16779 | Ewan Cass-Kavanagh | |
| 16780 | Chris Pickard | What comment can one make - it is thoughtless and does not take into consideration the huge body against the expansion.
All the government are trying to do is curry favour with BAA and the Airlines |
| 16781 | Luke Berman | We only have one planet how can they even be considering a third runway. If you ask people which they would prefer, a planet or some extra flight journeys i think u know what they would say. Stop destroying the planet we are part of it, work with it not against it. |

| 16787 | SIMON, ESSEX | GREENHOUSE GAS WILL DESTROY THE WHOLE PLANET. IT IS ALREADY KILLING POLAR BEARS AND WILDLIFE AS THE ICE IS MELTING RAPIDLY. THE OZONE LAYER HAS A HUGE HOLE IN IT AND IT IS GROWING.
WE NEED TO REDUCE GREENHOUSE GAS NOT MAKE IT WORSE. ARE LABOURS BRAINS IN THEIR A***? THE CONSERVATIVE GOVERNMENT DO NOT WANT A THIRD RUNWAY. HEATHROW IS ALREADY BIG ENOUGH. WE DO NOT NEED ANOTHER RUNWAY. THEY ARE COMPLETE IDIOTS. |

I will vote against this government because of the appalling decision to go ahead with the expansion of Heathrow. |

| 16796 | Ben Haslam | once again, the government is showing the people of this country utter contempt by ploughing ahead with an absurd and unnecessary move to which the majority of the public are opposed! |
