| 15452 | PAMELA TAYLOR | It seems far too convenient that just as the government announces plans to allow construction without the rigorous debate, a third runway is again on the agenda and will most likely come to be. We do not need a third runway or further airport expansion and i know no one who thinks we do. There is plenty opportunity to fly without further traffic, congestion and pollution. This Governemnt is clearly driven by companies want for increased profit and not for the good fo society. |
| 15453 | Kieron Abbott | Truley against and sick of a 100% capitalist Government forcing expansion, traffic congestion, increased pollution upon its people, against thier will. |

| 15458 | Colin Lougher | A third runway will mean an increase passenger numbers by 70%.
The aviation strategy for the UK must come in line with the targets that people want to see for cuts in greenhouse gases. |

| 15461 | Anonymous | We, even in Burnham, far side of Slough, we can hear the aircraft, so noisy sometimes you can't hear the TV. I feel sorry for those who live nearer. It's bad enough now - don't make it any worse |

| 15464 | Donald Wakeham | I think that regardless of how we feel the government will push ahead with the third runway. This is completely irresponsible and contrary to the wishes of the voters! Is this not a democracy anymore? Do we allow government to dictate that we move from our homes and face increaing noise and air pollution? I am disgusted at the government and will ensure they do not get my vote. Furthermore I believe we need to ensure that the signal is loud and clear to the government. No more expansion! |
| 15465 | Megan Dobson | Hi I am Megan I am just writing to say that I horrified about the third run way. But the Prime minister would not like it is we said to build it on his house. So why should we move? And it is just going to kill this world even more. He tells us to cut down on the power we use when is going to bulid another run way. This has got to be one big joke.

| 15469 | carl holmes | please include aviation into the climate change bill as if not looked at aviation will and is increasing tenfold , if we are to be leaders in the fight against climate change we need a improved bill |

| 15471 | Roy Thompson | The area is already congested and polluted enough both on the ground and in the air. I doubt that the region could cope with much more. There are other parts of the country we could drive business to. If the business case is that strong then use those other areas and stop clogging up the South East.
Although the noise levels from aircraft above the Woking area are not high according to the meters, you notice when there are quiet days and noisy days from Heathrow and Farnborough. And the noisy days are increasing.
I dread to think what life would be like for those living closer to the airports and I fully support them and their councils in stopping this expansion. I also condone Woking Council's position on Heathrow's expansion. Yes it may bring more opportunities for business to the Woking area, but I don't want to see Woiking clogged up by business and Airport buses and trains, either. |
| 15472 | Brendan Meyer | The economic growth of the UK does not depend on a 3rd runway. It is not essential! We do not need more planes in the air over London. I have more then enough flying over my house every day as it is. |
| 15473 | Kevin Hillcoat | I live under the flightpath and the changes proposed to the flightpaths including alternation at 3pm are going to make life a living hell for all south londoners.
Please think about the people who live here. |

| 15476 | Anonymous | It seems totally hypocritical of the government to be charging more tax for cars and penalising car users and yet on the other hand believing that another runway is essential!! Have they forgotten their 'green' crudentials? No government will make the right decision in my opinion and we the public must step in and say enough is enough. |

| 15480 | Tony Rolley | Heathrow causes major disruption, noise and pollution to the lives of millions of Londoners and residents of surrounding counties. It is in the wrong place. No further growth should be allowed, and an alternative created offshore that would enable take offs and landings without having an impact on people's lives. |

We live on existing flightpath and it's awful.
If expanded, would become totally unbearable.
Blight!! |

| 15492 | Anonymous | Air travel expansion is NOT the answer for the future!!!
We need an environmentally friendly "joined-up" transport infrastructure and forward looking policy
Rail should be a major component with relatively clean electric power derived from geothermal, water, wind and nuclear energy sources.
The planners should STOP putting “me first” and look at the bigger picture and the environmental impact for the future generations as the human race is currently destroying the planet of which we are only custodians for the future. |
| 15493 | Clive Mowforth | This must be stopped and investment put into the rail system |

| 15495 | Robert Shacklock | Close Heathrow and build a new airport in the Thames estuary. |
| 15496 | Thomas Ward | |
| 15497 | J M Knowles | Living in Lancashire, I want more flights and airlines operating from North West. It doesn't make sense to increase the tremendous and horrendous hassle of getting to Heathrow, as well as increased carbon output. |
| 15498 | Ann Major-Stevenson | Heathrow at its current size has become infrastructurally unsustainable. There are Gatwick, Stanstead and Luton in the London area, all with more space to expand around them, road networks to them that are not yet choked, perfectly adequate rail networks for getting to and from them - expand one of them but not Heathrow - it's FULL. |
| 15499 | Stacey-Adele | with less people being able to afford to go on holiday and fewer businesses travelling to coferences, favouring online ones insted, is another runway necesary?
also what about the people and wildlife that will be displaced by such a project...has anyone considered these?
surely there are better things the money could be spent on, like cheap green housing!!!! |
