AnonymousWe live in such a beautiful part of London, however due to the noise pollution caused by the flightpath I am considering moving. The noise has started at 5.30 in the morning.
Jane HumphreysIf the government is committed to tackling climate change then burgeoning air travel needs to be addressed urgently. The price of an airline ticket should truly reflect the cost to the environment.

Andrew ConstantineAs the lead candidate for the English Democrats in the 2008 London Assembly elections, I can say that we will campaign strongly on this issue. The fact that I live in Twickenham and near enough to the Heathrow flight path to be woken up at around 4.00 on many mornings gives me some real personal commitment to this campaign.

Jim MaddanThe government are running roughshod over the local community. The are threatening to 'consult', without all the facts being on the table. Why will they not publish the ANASE report. It is not true consultation
Chris J BradyWhy should a foreign propery developer aka Spanish Ferovial have the right to demolish British citizens' homes, communities, schools and ancient churches in the search for yet more profit from its damned hypermarkets (terminals) at Heathrow?

AnonymousI find the thought of Heathrow expansion totally unacceptable. Tens of thousands of peoples lives are already seriously blighted by aircraft noise and fuel pollution from flights to and from this airport. There is no way this should be increased.
James Page, Richmond & Twickenham Green PartyNot only must we stop the new runway/dual runway use but government must also recognise the huge rise in carbon emissions that will happen if the existing landing slots continue to be converted from short-haul to long-haul, as a result of the Open Skies agreements. This growth has to be curtailed too ( see petitions.pm.gov.uk/airlines )

John E TurnerThe increase in air traffic over Windsor is already too much, we are given false information as to the numbers of flights overall and in particular the numbers and times of early morning flights

Richard TraceyI live under the flightpath in Wandsworth town centre and the constant overhead aircraft noise is bad enough now, without further expansion. Richard Tracey 2008 GLA candidate, Merton & Wandsworth

Guy TurnerThis govenment only thinks about short-term profit. When will they start to consider the long-term effect of increased air-travel?

roger sealeyPeople have to learn to have less. Less flights, less emissions and less noise.
Geoff Courtenay
Cllr. Geoff CourtenayAny politician who does not sign up against this destructive proposal, needs to spend a week living in Sipson/Harmondsworth, then try & say with a clear conscience why they don't
John CampbellThis expansion must not go ahead

Katie GentWhen we complained about aircraft noise, we were told "Tough, Move elsewhere" But air pollution is a greater problem for the coun ty as a whole. No-one can move away from West London in order to avoid climate change!
