End Ethanol Subsidies and Mandates!

The petition

Whereas ethanol subsidies are wasteful and cost taxpayers millions of dollars each year

Whereas too much corn is planted to meet the government mandates, at the expense of other foodstuffs

Whereas ethanol is an inefficient energy source that uses more energy than it produces

Whereas ethanol subsidies and mandates are leading to food riots all over the world

Resolved: The United States Congress should immediately repeal all ethanol subsidies and mandates
