Stop Dollar General on Six Flags Drive

131 Signatures Goal: 250

As homeowners, residents and taxpayers of the Six Flags community, we do not want to see a Dollar General built in our neighborhood. We have been underserved for too long and are taking a stand against unwanted businesses in our community. We support high quality business and development that includes, a bank, grocery store (such as Publix or Kroger), restaurants, expanded recreational centers, a library or clothing stores. As signers of this petition: We adamantly oppose the building of Dollar General in the Six Flags community AND If built, refuse to patronize this establishment and will strongly encourage the community and visitors to refrain from spending any dollars there. We believe building Dollar General will lower our property values, create traffic problems, attract loitering and other illegal activity, and will not meet the commercial needs of our community. We urge Dollar General to stop building immediately! We welcome conversations with developers to discuss high quality commerce in our community. We are committed to fighting Dollar General and to the vision to create a Six Flags Drive we can be proud of.
