His experiences in Cameroun were terrible and he has suffered with such grace and dignity whilst going through a difficult process here in the UK. I believe his claim to be entirely legitmate and cannot understand why he has not been granted asylum, if he doesn't qualify who does? |

| 215 | Margaret Collier | It is a complete contradiction of Guy Njike's human rights to send him back to Cameroon where he would be in danger of imprisonment and torture. Not only that he has carried out extremely valuable work as a volunteer for a number of organisations including Medecins du Mondes and is of great value to the community where he is living. |

The UK prides itself on being a progressor of human rights, yet a individual who strives to positively contribute to his host country is being threatened with deportation to a state that has tortured him. Guy Njike has been here for nine years, Britian is now his home, allow him to stay and continue with the life he has bravely managed to build for himself after the horrendous treatment he revcieved from the Cameroon Government. No-one should be forced back to a country that, for them, holds memories of torture. |
