51 Revd Elizabeth PearceI can't believe that the UK can treat so shabbily someone who has contributed so much to the community here.

53 Dan SmithPlease allow Guy leave to remain in the UK - he could face torture or imprisonment if he is deported to Cameroon and he has created a new life in the UK, working and contributing to society.
54 AnonymousPlease do not deport Guy Njike. Respect the different backgrounds of the people that make London the world city that it currently is. Guy Njike is an example of community and this is why, in essence, there is a community urging you to stop his deportation!

57 Bob McKinnonA friend who knows Guy Njike personally has alerted me to his situation. I urge you to allow him to stay given the risk he faces of detention and physical punishment in Cameroon if we deport him there. Given we left his status unresolved for almost nine years - during which time he has made a constructive contribution to the community - we owe Guy Njike compassionate consideration of his case.

63 Hannah CooperThe UK has ratified the UN Refugee Convention, and is therefore obliged to give asylum to people like Guy who fear persecution in their home country. If the UK does not give asylum to someone with a real fear of persecution, its ratification of the Refugee Convention is worth nothing.

74 Matt SedenWe should be actively encouraging demonstrably hard-working, conscientious people to live in the UK, not pushing them away to situations where their lives are in danger. Good luck with this case.

78 eva wegrzynImmigrant rights are human rights - deportation is against fundamental human rights.
79 Loredana IaccarinoI met Guy Njike at my Masters course in Human Rights, followed in London at the Institute of Commonwealth Studies. He was always ready to help anyone, to work hard without complaining. He is a very nice and kind person and he doesn't deserve such a treatment by a democratic country!

89 Navkiran SaranIt is totally incomprehensible how / why the home office can even consider deporting someone who is so obviously in danger, and who has contributed in such a genuinely spirited and active way to life and society in the UK

91 Anu LiisananttiPlease stop the deportation of Guy. He must not be forced to return to Cameroon.

97 Harriet TaylorI am shocked and disappointed to hear that a fellow student from my MA course is to be deported. Having been persecuted in his own country, Guy has spent many hours volunteering in this one, all in the name of human rights. It is a slate on the government of this country that such a person, who has spent dedicating time at the Refugee Council no less, should have his own human rights taken away.
