| 36 | Emily Pearce | Jacqui Smith, I urge you to take action for my friend Guy Njike.
What sort of country lets someone wait 9 years for a decision and then detains then on the spot and seeks to remove them within the week? It really is inhumane.
Guy has worked so hard to make the best of his situation, he has given so much to his community in London and he has loads of friends here. He is genuinely terrified of returning to the Cameroon and fears for his life. You only need to ask him about his experiences back there in prison to see that he did not come to the UK to seek educational betterment (as the Home Office refusal letter yesterday stated).
He is such a lovely bloke and should not be retuned to the Cameroon where he will be in danger of torture again. Please let him stay. |
