Name: Anita Sartwell on Aug 9, 2008Comments: My family has first hand experience in these matters. My niece had 3 young children. A set of girl twins, 4 years old and a 2 year old son. She was having a rough time and her children were rightfully taken away and put in foster care. I had several relatives who wanted to take the girls, but the SRS department lied and said they never received any of the numerous calls by my cousins. This all happened shortly after homosexual couples were allowed to adopt children, whic my family thought was fine. Without notifying anyone in the children's family, the girl's were moved to the home of a gay couple, and they were told at that time that they would be adopting the children, depite the fact that the gitl's had family members who wanted to take them. My bother was fostering the younger brother, and told them that he would also take the girls so that the children could stay together. My brother went to great lengths to accommodate all 3 of the children. SRS came up with a great deal of twisted facts to create stories that suited their plans. They had NO intentions of letting the girls go anywhere but where they had put them. SRS stalled numerous times, until the girls had been with the so-called"tentative" adopting couple for 6 months, at which time they said it would be to traumatic to move the girls back with their family, even tough they still had regular contact with them. The court said that they have no jurisdiction over the SRS system.Flag

Name: Rachel Carroll on Aug 9, 2008Comments: This will be a great thing to have done because just yesterday my boyfriends sons mother, whom is a felon on PROBATION AND OUT OF STATE!!!, decided she wasn't going to let him see his son on his legal weekend because she is mad at him. We have the family court papers that state that she is to bring him at certain times. when she didn't we called the middlebury police and they said that there was nothing that they could do to uphold the order because it was family court! Who in the hell is supposed to do something then! Is going to family court and having papers written and signed by a judge just bullshit to shut us up but when it comes down to actually holding up to what the papers say, you dont' have to! This is absolutely the work of the ass backwards services we are offered in Vermont. All authorities should definitely be investigated and I feel that a few slacker cops should be thrown right in jail themselves! Do your damn jobs Vermont.Flag

They put the children in preadopted homes right from the start because they never attened on giving the children back to their mother.The mother has an apartment now and a third child which she is taking good care of but she still misses her other two children and wants them back.The two children in custody never got to meet their baby brother.Even thought the mother gots a home now and is taking real good care of her third child the court still orded for the tpr to be started.If anyone wants to now the sory about the case contact me on my email adress and we can prove all the lies they told because we have paper trails on it.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Aug 29, 2008Comments: My children are currently in the care of DCF in Brattleboro VT and let me tell you something they are liers and kidnappers my children were taken due to my depression and they have been in custody for 2 and a half months, my oldest son was pushed to the ground by a foster parent in the DCF office before i arrived for a visit and nothing was done about it. I still have no idea when my children are comming home or if they really are gonna give them back to me.........These people must be stoped!! The case worker that i have to deal with has been reported to the state for taking children and adopting them out and nothing has ever been done.....Flag

Name: Anonymous on Sep 23, 2008Comments: my rights are being vilated as we speak i had custidy of my 8 yold child and the mom asked me after leaving my child with strangers that i did not know or trust well the mother went out of the state to see a cupple to have sex with them and she was no where to be found for little over 1 month she was no where to be found i asked the courts for custidy of my child under the grounds of abandiment and the juge agreed and granted me full custidy and phizicle custidy well when i went to get hr the family that had her was not going to give her to me so i went to the shariffs office and showed them the court order and the sharrif went there with me and got her with hatred voices from them well when my x came back she asked me to be able to take her for a viset and i seaid no at first but she begged me to so i did and asked her to be back a serten day and she dident show i went there and the police came and seaid that she needed to surender the child to the father well then the mother asked her dose she want to go with daddy she was cohursed from mom having her tell the police officer to not let me go with daddy because he touched me down below whitch was later thown out by the state because of a polygraph test whitch was 100 % innicent sio the states district atturnys office droped the case and dcf refuzes to drop it even when im innisent of this charge and thay have me opn the child danger list i have lots of evidence proving that dcf was in the wrong far as i see the district atturneys office was smart thay pulled out because knowingly that i want to sue the dcf for slander deflimashon of carictor and fraud and purgery i have records that the mom lost other children in the past for abuse and she still not doing the right thing with her i go into town and lots of people come to me and say she is being niglected and not watched lots more from this my email adress if interested in this suite catmando8820002000@gmail.com pl leave numbe so i can reach u or i will not respont because of email theft tyFlag

Ohland on Sep 27, 2008Comments: we already lost our daughter at 15 to this gestapo system in 1998, where she was taken out of our home placed in the boyfriends home whose mother got her self appointed guardian, they were allowed to sleep togather our daughter got pregnant, the guardian the mother of the boy being an attorney in vermont, got our an abortion illigally at the hardwick health center family planging place under a fraudlently used name, her own daughters who was old enough to get an abortion, we were crushed. then our daughter after loosing all her american doll collection worth many hundreds of dollars and other things, told us i t was all false, she thought she loved this kid , all the kids at peoples academy knew how to piss of parents to get what ever they wanted so the tow of them thought this woud be fun to do, God help the other parents, it cost us a grand child to to illeagle abortion, 5,000 dollars ic court, our business,, countless days of crying and sorrow, confusion threats on our lives and our daughter fo over two years, and God only knows how scared she will be in years to come, DCF should be dii-banned and spanking, re instituted, not abuse spanking with out fear of jail and gestapos taking our children.Flag

His oldest commited suicide in his mothers care with his depression medication that his mother let him give to himself. Springfield VT PD never investigated her. But they came into his home to investigate a claim against him by the mother. She has been hospitalized many times for mental disorders AND DCF in Windsor county took the kids away for abuse she admitted too. No charges were ever filed against dad because there was never anything backing up her claims. Even the judge said the children sounded coached. Forensic Evaluationd done by Windsor Court/DCF approved doctors have been ignored by DCF Windsor and now Windam Counties because they say the mother should not have any unsupervised visits for minimum 2-4 yrs because of her illness. DCF even put the kids with the aunt (after going behind the courts back to certify her as a foster parent) because the mother was staying there. The court had said no. Now as of today 11/24/08 DCF has told the father the kids will be placed back with the mother until the court decides placement. It has been over a year since the oldest boy died. They never did anything against her for letting him control his adult doses of prozac and welbutrin (he was 14 yrs old). They have never finished charging her for the child abuse, and the court upheld those charges. They are even ignorning the fact that in her medical files to her phyc. docs that she admitted to twice trying to kill her husband. Her lawyer tried to hide those records. But then again this is the same lawyer who got off with having 36 marijuana plants and 2 1/5 lbs bagged in her home with deferrment. She is also a part time judge in Windsor court, what a wonderful example of corruption there. Windsor SA said she deserves a second chance. Sure lets provide more illegal drugs to kids. The mother even admitted in those same records, "he never abused me or the kids, if he had it would have been easy because I could have kicked him in the shins and not felt guilty". But if he leaves me I will make his life hell. All alligations against him started after he left the house. Of course DCF helped back date them to before. Not to mention when the DCF worker helped her clean and paint the family home up to sell, she admitted to helping the mother patch up knife marks in the walls. The dad had been out of the home for about 2 yrs at this point. DCF helped cover up their own evidence against her. She nailed windows shut, put padlocks on the cabinets and the doors and even shaved the cats legs. The youngest son now 5 told us how mommy and the bad man put ropes around the dogs and cats necks and then threw them in a hole in the back yard. NH will not take the report, which is where the dad lives because the kids are in VT DCF custody. But VT DCF has proved time and time again they will not listen to anything anyone says. Before the oldest son died, multiple people testified that if the mother was given the children something would happen to one of them. It took less then a year for one to die, while his younger siblings were with their dad. He waited until Dad picked up the younger ones because he knew they would be safe with dad and not mom. Someone has to do something please before another one of these children are killed or hurt. She has 6 diagnosis and they are personality disorders and can only be controlled not cured.Flag

They have a mom who is mentally ill several hospitalizations, records of violence, admitted to her doc that she tried to kill her husband twice and that he’d never hurt her or the kids. But if he left her she’d make his life hell. Thanks to those self-righteous prigs she’s done a good job. Mom has admitted she mixed doses of prozac in one bottle the morning her oldest son committed suicide. He had been saying for a week he was going to do it, the meds were bothering him. She didn’t answer him for 45 minutes when he called her that am for help downstairs Oh and she gave him control of his own anti-depression meds. DCF has this all in their records, no charges were pressed against her and they still think that she is a good mother and should have the kids. While dad who has no records, a decorated veteran who has multiple awards for his counseling work, was on the governors counsel in VT at Jim Douglases request. Loves his children, has had a steady job, highly educated and DCF said he’s violent because mom said so. DCF themselves did an investigation against him and said it was unfounded and Windsor court would not file charges as mom had influenced the kids. Now DCF sees that mom is not doing well again and if they don’t go to mom then they should be put up for adoption. NH DCF did two home inspections and said that dad’s a good guy and good kids house, VT DCF ignored their report. Just as they ignored the evaluation done by a forensic evaluator, licensed for specifically family forensic evaluations who says she’s crazy, give the children to dad he’s good with them. Yeah there is alot of corruption in DCF in Windsor and Winham counties. As for their GAL’s I have been there when they were around and they still bold face lied about what they saw. Or became friends with mom and took an instant dislike to dad without having met him, say that, but still the court thinks they do a good job. I find them to be nothing but buddies to the DCF workers along with anyone they seem to hire for their reports. No one in those departments can do their job in a professional capacity nor do they think of the children first. It’s sad, one child is dead already because of them, mom got off and the 3 surviving who knows if they will survive this DCF doesn’t care. Springfield PD didn’t go into the house to investigate the one childs death until 3 weeks after he died. Yep no corruption there either. It’s so sad that Vermont does not really have any office that cares for children actually working for the benefit of the child. Everyone is so bitter and cynical. It has to stop before another child dies. Anyone have any ideas None of the politicians will help as they’ve all been contacted and proved useless. Go figure it’s not an election year.Flag

My children are so traumatized, dcf split the 3 up in 2 seperate foster homes...so devestating to my kids and i! DCF needs to be stopped they are liars and corrupt and should not be allowed to automatically take children from parents based on hotline reports, most of which are false "anonymous" calls. We need to take a stand and fight these "legal" kidnappings!Flag
