| 204 | Anonymous | weaverville, NC | there are way to many kids and families on that road for large concrete trucks to be driving in the area. Look at all the schools just in that small area around you. Plus, I attend North Asheville Baptist Church. and as the church grows and the new church is built, look at all the families involoved there.
I have lived in Weaverville my entire 36 years of life. And lived on the North end of Buncombe County, Weaverville. I live close to the "dumb", "prison" and now a huge concrete plant. Give this end of the county a break please.
I'm asking mostly for the Safty of all the families and kids riding these roads right at the plant. I just don't think it's right. |

| 210 | Tim Walker | Weaverville | Normal comercial growth around an interstate exit, such as hotels and restaurants, would be effectively stopped by a concrete plant. As tourism is a leading industry for WNC, a concrete plant at this location would have a negative economic impact on the local citizenry. |
| 211 | Melissa Murray | Weaverville | Traffic is a problem in this area. Main entrance to NBHS. |

| 214 | Lisa Boff | Weaverville | I find it hard to believe that this site would even be considered for a cement plant. The large trucks and pollution will be putting all our children in the community in danger due to the location being in the middle of all our schools. The pollution will also be posing a danger to the elderly and others who may have breathing problems within the residential community near the site. |
| 215 | Heidi Shields | Weaverville, NC | Please do not approve this concrete plant. Please take seriously the concerns of community members regarding this development. |

| 218 | Anonymous | Alexander | It would be nice if my town cared enough about my health that I wouldn't have put so much research and time into it. All points made above on this petition are valid, reasonable and are enough for me to say no, this concrete plant is not going to benefit the Murphy Hill Rd community. Thank you for voting against it. |

France | You wonder why a french?
My children live in the area! |
| 221 | Rebecca Wooten | Asheville, nc 28804 | There is already an abundance of traffic with four schools using this entrance and exit to futurw I-26. A camant plant and the traffic involved would be very dngerous for all involved! |
| 222 | Donald Wooten | Asheville, NC 28804 | We do not need the added traffic to an already congested area so near our schools and many new drivers. |
| 223 | John Boff | Weaverville | It is ludicrous that a business that will endanger our children is even being considered. There is undoubtedly a place for this plant that is NOT within 1 mile of 3 schools. |

| 226 | Jeff Knorr | Weaverville | We just moved to this area from west Asheville because it is so beautiful, and plan to raise a family here. We as well as most people in the area have well water because city water is not available. To think that our water could be contaminated by this plant is a very frightening proposition. I am also very concerned about the value of my investment. Not only would our home lose value but we would probably have poor luck even selling it at all. Once again this is one of the most beautiful parts of our county. Please don't let it be ruined by this plant. |
| 227 | Casi Knorr | Weaverville | I am devastated by the news that there is even the possibility of a concrete plant being built on Murphy Hill Rd. We just bought our home and are so excited about the neighborhood, which is completely residential save for a few farms and schools. This is quite obviously the wrong place for this plant. I hope the board of adjustments will respect the wishes of the residents of flat creek. |

| 234 | Fran Durden | Weaverville | I am strongly opposed to a concrete plant at this location. This is mostly a residential area. A plant would be too close to North Buncombe Middle School and High School. It will cause traffic and health issues. |

| 236 | Anonymous | Weaverville | Please do not permit this plant to be built.....it will ruin our water supply and that of all of the state..... |
| 237 | Joe Lasher | Mars Hill | I am opposed to the proposed Concrete Plant and feel that it is not the highest and best use of this property. It is my opinion that there will be no benefit to the surrounding community now, nor in the future. |

| 240 | Susan Troianello | Candler, NC 28715 | I lived near a stone quarry in NE PA. It created a lot of dust with a detrimental effect on everyone for miles around. The roads constantly needed repaving due to the weight on them. This will not be an asset to the community no matter how many jobs it creates. |
