108 Troy AmastarAlexanderI think it is a very poor choice to put a cement plant in a residential area, within close proximity to 3 public schools. It will pollute the area and be more dangerous with many cement trucks going in and out. It should not be allowed.

110 Steven McBrideBarnardsvilleNO CONCRETE PLANT AT THIS ALREADY TOO BUSY SCHOOLS AREA
111 Edward P. Lilly IIIWeavervilleIt is my hope that the appointed representatives of this county subscribe to the wishes of the local residents and decisively put this issue to rest by permanently denying a conditional use permit for the development of a concrete plant in our community.

115 Amiee ProctorWeavervilleI can not imagine adding the danger of concrete trucks pulling into the existing traffic including school traffic. Not to meniton that this would be an eye sore to what is otherwise a nice residential neighborhood.

119 Mary M. ShawWeaverville, NC 28787I'm totally against the concrete plant being located on Murphy Hill Rd. at Exit 17 of I-26. There are other locations in the county that are already designated industrial. There is already traffic congestion at that exit due to the close proximity of four schools as well as housing subdivisions plus the amount of air pollution that would be generated at the site. NO CONCRETE PLANT!

137 AnonymousBarnardsvilleEven though we all use concrete, our children should not be exposed to the environmental effects of such a plant.

139 Ron GroetsemaBarnardsville, NC 28709The main route of the trucks that go to and from this site would overlap the main route driven by buses, parents and students for two different schools. That in itself is reason to think twice about putting our young student drivers in harms way.

146 O.C. Edwards, Jr.Weaverville, NC 28787How our residential street came to be zoned for such use is incomprehensible to me. I thought this was the very sort of thing zoning was enacted to protect us from.

149 William ShawWeaverville, NC 28787My children attend the schools within a mile of the proposed plant, we live within earshot of the site, and we drink well water that could become contaminated (if the well doesn't run dry!) This plant will most certainly affect the quality of our life and will diminish the value of our home and property. It must not be alllowed to proceed!
150 AnonymousBarnardsvilleI strongly oppose the building of a concrete plant on Murphy Hill Rd.
