Steve Holland | Weaverville | A large number of semi-trailer trucks and concrete trucks on this 2-lane road are a recipe for disaster .
Kim Porter and Brad Kiger | Weaverville, NC 28787 | I cannot attend the hearing due to work. I live and work in Weaverville. I am adamantly opposed to issuing a conditional permit for construction of a concrete plant at Murphy Hill Rd. in Weaverville.

Paul R. Lankford Jr. | Weaverville, NC 28787 | Both of my children attend school in close proximity to the proposed site. My parents, age 78 and 80 live less than 1/8 mile from the site. This project, should it reach fruition, would have a detrimental effect on my family, friends and neighbors. It offers nothing of benefit to those that live in the North Buncombe area, and would only serve to deminish property values, create an additional burden on the highway infrastructure while detracting from the natural beauty and pastoral setting of the area.

Carolyn Crook | Weaverville, NC 28787 | This will also impact the perception of Weaverville and Buncombe Co. as people drive down 'scenic' I-26 from TN and suddenly come upon an eye and then 'big box stores'.
William E. Evans | Weaverville, NC 28787 | I am the camp manager at Young Life's Windy Gap Camp and I live at the camp with my family and one other family. We host to over 15,000 guests per year who will drive by the proposed site. I personally am against this development and Young Life Windy Gap is opposed to it too.

Darlene Dillingham | weaverville | I feel that it would be a mistake to build a concrete plant on the Murphy HIll Road property, this is an area of high traffic volume and a lot of the traffic is school buses. This is a curvy and narrow road that needs to be carefully maneuvered now but adding all the large trucks would certainly make this road much more dangerous. For the sake of all the children in the Weaverville area we ask that you take a look at this situation and give your decision a lot of thought before granting a petition for a concrete plant on this piece of property.

Jody Ochs | Weaverville | Putting a concrete plant here would be a travesty to the neighborhood! And where will all the water that they will need for this, come from? Please consider that, and inform our community about it, BEFORE passing this project! Better yet, listen to the community and say NO to this project as it does not fit in with the community at ALL!
Wendy C. Mercer | Weaverville | This site is directly across from a professional/medical office park and would not be beneficial to those offices.

Dr. Sheila Dunn | Weaverville, NC 28787 | PLEASE turn down the conditional use permit for this concrete plant. I'm concerned both with my property values as well as seeing a concrete plant every time I drive home. Finally, I'm cncerned about the safety of school children in this residential neighborhood.
Renee Garcia | Weaverville | I am concerned that this will deplete our water table levels and force us all to drill new wells. I am also concerned about the health of the air we will breath and the impact of the trucks on traffic.
Paula Fann | Weaverville | Please think of all the children this could directly involve!

L. Scrudders | Weaverville | It is beyond comprehension that Buncombe County would approve this industrial plant in this quiet residential area. This will have a devastating effect upon our community!!!!!!!!!!

Catherine Jackson | Weaverville |
Pam Henderson | Weaverville | This is right in the middle of a neighborhood. It should be located where people aren't living near by.
Donna Savage | Alexander | I vehemently disagree with the plans to build a concrete plant on this property. I feel it would negatively impact this area in fathomless ways, for generations to come. With the schools in that area, there is already heavily congested traffic, including school buses and teens driving to school. There are also numerous environmental concerns. For the Board to allow this facility to be built, would be unconscionable. We need to think of our children and future generations and say no to outside companies who want to come into our county and destroy what the generations before us entrusted in our care.
