Comments: This clear cutting is cutting in to the hearts and spirits of our future. The land will not recover. Taking of resources which in reality can belong to no one but the creatures who dwell within, for the short term profit of corporate share holders is causing damage that will never be repaired. Stop it now.

Comments: I hate clear cutting, and I just can't understand why our officials won't do the right thing and stand up to corrupt Timber companies. Do the right thing Mr. Jerry Brown, do it because our children want to see this sacred place too...

Comments: Clear-cutting is already banned in many areas of the world because it is an unnecessary and damaging practice predicated upon scientific ignorance and unbridled greed. Drag-netting the ocean floor is now banned for similar reasons. Incremental destruction of forest habitat is the primary cause of today's record species extinction rates.

Comments: I STRONGLY OPPOSE any clearcutting around Strawberry Rock, and ALL clearcutting of our forests! Clearcutting is an irresponsible, destructive practice that is detrimental to our forests and ruins the ecosystem. There is no need to clear this popular and sacred area.

Comments: This harvest plan is not okay. Not at all. Okay, sure, some harvesting for the health of the forest and even for commercial use is fine, but clear cutting this area is just wrong. Especially since there are animal habitats already spotted nearby, both osprey and spotted owl. To not be sustainably harvesting that area instead would be a huge travesty, and I am wholeheartedly against it. DO NOT CLEAR CUT THESE AREAS!!

Comments: Clearcutting is bad practice all around, and creates massive soil erosion - that's why we have a "bay" full of muck instead of a seaport that reaches to Arcata. DO NOT CLEAR CUT! It's bad for everyone, including you!
