Name: Joan Richards on Jan 23, 2013Comments: This clear cutting is cutting in to the hearts and spirits of our future. The land will not recover. Taking of resources which in reality can belong to no one but the creatures who dwell within, for the short term profit of corporate share holders is causing damage that will never be repaired. Stop it now.Flag

Drag-netting the ocean floor is now banned for similar reasons. Incremental destruction of forest habitat is the primary cause of today's record species extinction rates.Flag

Clearcutting is an irresponsible, destructive practice that is detrimental to our forests and ruins the ecosystem. There is no need to clear this popular and sacred area.Flag

Name: Amie L Watson on Jan 26, 2013Comments: This harvest plan is not okay. Not at all. Okay, sure, some harvesting for the health of the forest and even for commercial use is fine, but clear cutting this area is just wrong. Especially since there are animal habitats already spotted nearby, both osprey and spotted owl. To not be sustainably harvesting that area instead would be a huge travesty, and I am wholeheartedly against it. DO NOT CLEAR CUT THESE AREAS!!Flag
