Bernie Madoff employed many people and produced a lot of revenue but who believes his kind of business is the right economic strategy for our state and our country? Predatory gambling is another kind of Madoff something-for-nothing scheme, which is why it will not rescue us or America’s economy. The days of phony prosperity are over.
