Comments: I was born and raised in the Catskill Mountains and the last thing this area needs to disturb the main reason people come to visit and the quality of life of those that live there, are a bunch of casinos. Please stop this madness from ensuing!

Comments: The proposed Casino will have an adverse impact on the people who enjoy the catskills natural attributes. I lived near the Seneca casino in NY, the negatives significantly out weighed the positives.

Comments: To all elected officials please stop casinos from coming to the Catskills especially along the banks of the Neversink River. If stopping them is not possible please at least restrict the size to small managable size

Comments: The traffic on Route 17 is already horrendous. How would the state address this problem which would only be made worse This must not be permitted.

Comments: Please keep our communities healthy. Stop the casinos in Sullivan County. They pull money AWAY from our communities ie. money that would have been spent buying an appliance or car etc, locally is spent at the casino. In this case it not only leaves Sullivan county, it goes to the Mylasian owners and leaves the COUNTRY.... Casinos draw an audience we do not want to host.

Comments: You have three Indian tribes with no historical or cultural ties to the area in which they propose to establish sovereign entities for the purpose of establishing class III gambling enterprises that would otherwise be banned under the NYS Constitution. This is a sham, and the fact that we find it necesssary to petition our public officials to ask them to oppose it is testimony to the poor quality of leadership they have shown thus far.

Comments: Casinos of the massive scope suggested would ruin our chances for moving forward with sustainable development in the Catskills. We need farming, health care, green technology, not out of date, outmoded, failed industries like gambling and all that goes with it. Please heed these voices!

Comments: The towns in Upstate New York already suffer from lack of economic opportunity . What makes up for the stresses in the Catkills is a precious commodity that is nature unspoiled. The people who live here, own second homes, and the tourists who visit will no longer be if this plans goes through. It will only devastate an area of beauty that gives pleasure and solace to so many. For gambling to come to this area is a crime.
