Bullying
maims, stifles and kills innocent children, ultimately destroying families and
communities! Too many innocent young lives have been lost to suicide secondary
to bullying. Bill 13 is not protecting all children equally. Kids continue to
die!<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
We the undersigned call on Hon. Laurel
Broten, Minister of Education, Canada’s Minister of Public
Safety Hon.Vic Toews and Premier of Ontario Dalton McGuinty to stop bullying in schools and bullying related
suicide. We ask that the education act and bill 13 are amended to reflect the
magnitude of the bullying crises in Canadian schools.
We ask that the
bill 14, submitted by the Hon. Elizabeth Withmer is included in and become a
part of bill 13 to protect our children from bullies in the school environment.
We ask that both teachers and parents are held accountable for the harm done to
victims of bullying while at school and they can be charged with a criminal
negligence and or failing to protect a child from harm.
