It isn't just Pit Bulls anymore, breed specific legislation and bans will affect us all, and it will affect all of our family pets if we don't fight it. Your dog is no longer safe, and neither is mine. Yesterday it was my neighbors dog, today it is mine (Doberman), and tomorrow it could be yours. Allowing breed specific legislation to be passed is opening the door of infringement of our rights. Should the government be allowed to tell us what breeds of dogs we can open up the doors of our hearts to, and love And should all dogs pay the price for the actions of irresponsible dog owners There are alternatives to BSL, such as deeming individual dogs vicious and aggressive based on their own merit, and restricting ownership of these aggressive dogs no matter the breed. Your breed of dog may be safe today as I thought mine was..........until now.
