For those of you who don't know me, my name is Barbara Barco. I'm an everyday American suburban mom. I've lived in my home on Durant Road for the past 17 years, have raised my children in the area, and have watched the area grow from rural farms to the bustling suburb we all know and love. One thing that really drew me to this area is the "country feel" to our lovely suburban life, the presence of good, local schools and an absolutely beautiful County Park where many happy souls spend time fishing, boating and enjoying their families. Now, our peaceful way of life is being threatened, the value of our homes is being threatened, and the health of our families is being threatened by a recent Proposal made to REZONE the 3,081 ACRE AREA bounded by SR 60 on the North side, DURANT ROAD on the South side, TURKEY CREEK ROAD on the East side and DOVER ROAD on the West side from AGRICULTURAL/RURAL to ENERGY INDUSTRIAL PARK.
