Perth & Kinross Council has given planning permission for an
\'energy-from-waste\' incinerator, to burn 60,000 tonnes of domestic and commercial waste each year. If built, this incinerator will produce a cocktail of dangerous chemicals and greenhouse gases that threatens human health and the environment.
Signatories to this petition demand that Perth & Kinross Council rescinds it earlier decision, and chooses a healthier and greener method of waste management.
