Name: Binh Chung, M.D. on Apr 25, 2007Comments: in our office our nurses and estheticians do our lasers under our supervision..they do a great job..i do not have time to do these elective non-invasive light treatments..they are very well trained at performing these treatments...they do chemical peels which are more invasive yet nobody is concerned about that...Flag

On top of putting people out of work and forcing business owners to lose their livlihood, this would increase costs and limit availability of services to the consumer. Who will benefit A select few physicians who think that the only way to increase their own business is to put others into financial and personal jeopardy. Shame on those who think that this is a good idea and to those who support it!!!Flag

Name: Judi Hynds on Apr 25, 2007Comments: This bill is ridiculous! Some of the WORST treatment outcome has been done by INEXPERIENCED Dr.'s and nurses. To be good at anything requires long hours of study and many ,many hands-on treatments. EXPERIENCE is the answer.Flag

Name: Noelani Richardson on Apr 25, 2007Comments: I firmly believe in proper training when operating any type of laser machine, but I don't think it needs to be done by a doctor. As a patient that has received both IPL and laser hair removal with trained technicians running the laser, I am very happy with the quality care I received. This bill will send many hard working people into unemployment, and will send the costs of laser treatments skyrocketing. Regulations on training and certifications for operating lasers seems like a much more educated approach. Please stop this bill from passing. Thank You.Flag
