I am horrified by the stories I have heard of animal abuse and mistreatment in our world. I am motivated to complete this petition after reading one of the worst counts of animal abuse I have ever heard of. Walking down a busy market street in Beijing, China, a stall on the side featured a dog and various other animals hanging upside down by numerous sharp hooks while still alive. The man behind the counter then came around and slit the dog's throat and sliced it from bottom to top. The sound can only be described in one way. The dog was screaming, not whimpering, but screaming, a sound that pierced the air - something that would haunt anyone forever.
 
Animal Abuse in China and globally has been happening for centuries. People must realise in order to be treated equally they must treat all other living beings the same way. The people who do it or overlook it are a monstrosity and without heart.
How can bears riding on unicycles on tightropes and monkeys juggling be helping anyone?! Mistreating animals for cosmetic or entertainment purposes or otherwise is totally unnecessary. It needs to be stopped immediately. China will never be considered a fair and equal nation until they realise what is important and are considerate of all living things. Every living being has the right to life.

The Human race came into their world. Not the other way around. Every Action has a Reaction.
