Seal hunting is practiced in five countries: Canada, Greenland, Namibia, Norway, and Russia. The seals are brutally beaten, clubbed, hooked, and dragged across the ice they once called home. About 45% of the seals never fully die on the ice. These seals will end up being skinned alive, because, according to veterinary reports, only 21% of sealers check to see if the seal is alive before they skin it. Up to one million seals could die this year alone. But if you sign this petition, you'll help the worldwide community to stop the hunt and save the seals.
