We, the citizens of Camarillo, are requesting a traffic light be installed at the intersection of Adolfo Rd. and Rancho Calleguas. We are concerned for the safety of our children and the elderly community. 

Everyday the citizens of the retirement community (Name) attempt to cross the street to visit the local Rancho Calleguas Park. There is also a bike trail project by Public Works that has been implemented. Project Description: The Calleguas Creek Bike Trail Phase 2 project will construct a portion of bike trail along Calleguas Creek’s East bank between Adolfo Road and Mission Oaks Blvd. The portion connects to an existing bike trail that begins at Calleguas Creek at Upland Road and extends it to the Village at the Park sports park. With this new bike trail there is more traffic in this area.

There is heavy traffic in the morning and afternoon due to the local Adolfo Camarillo High School and La Mariposa Elementary School.
