The undersigned requests that the City of Kamloops forwards a letter to the Honourable Peter Kent, the Federal Minister of Environment, requesting him to appoint an Independent Review Panel pursuant to his authority under Section 28 of the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act. This will provide the residents of Kamloops with the most rigorous form of environmental assessment available and will be independent of all special interest groups. The residents of Kamloops deserve the highest level of environmental assessment possible to protect its future.
