Our Rivers,Canals,Ponds and Lakes are being systematically robbed of their fish by visitors and migrants from other countries. We have a law that is called the theft of fish act, and regardless of what these thieves may say they know that the taking of fish from any of our waters is covered by this act. But there is nothing been done to stop it. Everyone has the right to fish on a catch and return basis so long has they have the Environment Agency Licence and any Permits required by the owners of the waters. Yet hundreds of migrants have been stealing the fish and either eating them on the banks or taking them home. I have seen this happen on our local waters, soon there will be waters where no one fishes any longer. This is a disaster unfolding before our eyes. I suggest that every Licence or permit sold must have a declaration that must be signed by they person who is going to using stating that anyone who is caught breaking the theft of fish act will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law and ignorance is no defence. We pay our licence and permit fee's and part of that cost is supposed to go to improve the facilities. Stopping the thieves is part of the improvement. If you agree please sign this petition
