Name: Michael Stairs on Jan 14, 2012Comments: This is another attempt to shred the constitution by restricting massive levels of free speech and freedom of press. If this law passes all out dictatorship will follow. If the government want to attack pirates do it but leave innocence alone. If our tax dollars are going to be used against us we should all stop paying them they can't arrest us all.Flag

Name: Eric Ochoa on Jan 15, 2012Comments: To fundamentally change the underpinning of what makes this internet great would be disastrous. This would be the beginning of the end. There are other solutions that these mega corporations can do to stop piracy. We must be smart about this and not let those with power and wealth alter our freedoms. We must fight with one voice and unite against those who seek only ulterior motives.Flag

Name: Clae Hyde on Jan 15, 2012Comments: The legislators of this bill have a very narrow-minded view on the wide-spread impact this could have on the future of internet innovation. The powers given to a tiny minority of people who are inept in the use of the internet could not only take down sites like YouTube, Facebook and Twitter but also destroy any potential online progress that may have an immense positive impact on the international community. This bill is undemocratic in the sense that it removes the freedom of speech and freedom from fear in a multimedia environment, not just in the US, but globally as well. The internet has been the greatest technological feat achieved by humanity and it should be left to the people.Flag

Name: SARA MCCREEDY on Jan 15, 2012Comments: We need to stop this bill from being passed. It is well known that piracy is bad, illegal and hurts the digital media market. The problem is that if any website even slightly advocates for piracy in an article then it can be blocked. This has to END.Flag
