The below signed individuals hereby declare their opposition to the application of the JUNGO LAND & INVESTMENT, INC. or RECOLOGY to bringing millions of tons of garbage to Humboldt County, Nevada from the California area for permanent storage. The below signed demands that all local elected and appointed officials take all necessary steps to prevent and oppose this landfill and protect our community and our beautiful desert from the horrible effects of the extremely large landfill that will operate 24 hours per day for thirty years, and consist of about 200 million cubic yards of waste. No amount of money will compensate this community for the landfill, and we don't want it. Our sense of well being is not for sale.

Nevadans Against Garbage (NAG) is a non-political, single-issue organization of concerned citizens who have come together to STOP the proposed Jungo Landfill. This proposed landfill and its facilities are designed to potentially be the largest landfill in the world:
•It would import 4,000 tons of garbage per day, 5 days per week for 95 years.
•It would occupy an initial space of 640 acres (1 section) with the possibility of expanding to a space of 2,560 acres (4 sections).
