Name: Sara on Apr 22, 2010Comments: Our government is seriously messed up if they think taxing people more is going to help. I'm one of the thousands in this country that are just barely getting by as it is, why are you making it harder on us? Now I'm going to have to scrape together even more money to pay my hydro bill, when I could have used that money to feed my family. I'm 110% against new taxes, please give us a break. Most of us need all the money we can get right now.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Jun 1, 2010Comments: I signed a purchase agreement for a new home in Sept/09 with a closing date of Jul6/10. I was told then that the HST would not affect me. Now they have changed the rules and apparently I do have to pay. I don't care that I'm getting a 75% rebate...that's still 25% more than I had expected to pay!!!!!! I'm furious that they've changed the rules midway. A July 1st start date for this stupid tax should be when it starts. Any Agreements signed after July 1st should be affected...not before when nobody knew what was going on!!!!! Seriousely PISSED OFF!!!!!!!!Flag

Name: Beryl Graham on Jun 4, 2010Comments: This will be a hardship on every Canadian. We're being taxed to death and it's never enough for people like McGuinty who doesn't have to worry about paying his bills thanks to our tax dollars. Times are tough right now with a lot of people out of work and this will just make it worse.Flag
