Comments: I think businesses would wan to spend time on getting new sales rather than getting adjusted to the new harmonized tax. So afterall businesses would not benefit as much as McGuinty has thought, the haromozied tax to me is simply a cash grab.

Comments: While I do not argue that harmonizing would simplify the tax structure and potentially improve the provincial economy by helping businesses and inviting investments, I am absolutely enraged at the timing. At a time when we are in the worst recession in decades, and perhaps even teetering on the brink of a potential Depression, to penalize all Ontarians on unavoidable necessities like utilities and gas is beyond abhorrent. I regret voting for this sham of a government.
