Name: Mrs D Edwards on Apr 17, 2009Comments: I am opposed to the building of another housing estate because…. 1. Who says we need further housing There are so many existing houses up for sale – Aren’t we supposed to be in a recession. 2. I am sure there must be environmental issues– on taking away more of our green belt area. 3. Our local services and amenities can barely cope with the influx of population we have now. Do you know if you want a dental appointment our NHS dentist can not offer anything before 2010!! Outsiders move in - use our amenities – but no one thinks to supply and extra teachers, doctors, dentists etc to accommodate the extra influx. 4. Colwyn Bay town is fast loosing it’s originality – no one is welsh anymore!Flag

Name: Anonymous on Apr 22, 2009Comments: The development at Glyn Farm is not wanted by the people of Colwyn Bay It is about time the local authority remembered who they represent and it is certainly not the builders who are hell bent on covering all our green fields with their houses. There are plenty of empty properties in the area for anyone who has the ability to buy them in these hard times. If the council did its job properly this would not even reach the second stage of planning. THROW IT OUT!Flag

Name: Margaret & Peter Hughes on Apr 24, 2009Comments: The Glyn estate cannot support any more development, the main reasons being the ingress/egress of the estate, and the ability of the sewerage system to cope as it now stands. If the Council refused to sanction development by Anwyl in 2008, why are they now proposing an even bigger development.Flag

Name: Paul Richards on May 2, 2009Comments: The planners really must look long and hard at the site access. Is it suitable for the proposed 144 dwellings Is there proper sewers and drains to deal with the extra capacity Have the planners consulted with emergency services. There is a council designated emergency centre on Groes Road (Llys Elian)Flag

Name: B&D Clarke on May 11, 2009Comments: We strongly object to further housing develelopments in this area where access will become an issue. Traffic is already a problem, and an accident waiting to happen. There is too, already a heavy demand on resources without adding to it.Flag
