| 3604 | Crystal Willis | I am the proud mother of a 10 year old girl with down syndrome. I am very offended by the content of this movie!! |
| 3605 | Victoria Sauber | These actors have lost any and all respect I have EVER had towards them. I am VERY offended by the contents of this movie. I am a PROUD older sister to a ten year old lillte sister with down syndrome. I find this material very offensive. |
| 3606 | Holly Moore | Please stop the sale of the promotional products. The film itself is bad but to have the public walking around wearing a t-shirts is worse. I now dread the day when my daughter comes home asking me "what is a full retard?" or telling me someone has called her a "full retard." This is just great! One more degrading remark in the arsenal against my child. |
| 3607 | Kathleen Fry | It is incomprehensible that one human being would deliberately belittle another less advantaged human being. What does that say about the character of Ben Stiller or his cohorts in this film? |
| 3608 | Gary Fry | It is incomprehensible that one human being would deliberately belittle another less advantaged human being. What does that say about the character of Ben Stiller or his cohorts in this film? |

| 3613 | Patricia L. Fisher | |
| 3614 | Susan Smith | I have not and will not see this movie. I won't add to the revenue, and I won't support the derogatory nature of it.
It takes a lot to end ignorance, and I am certain that if Ben Stiller's daughter was born with a condition causing developmental delays, that the r word would never have been used. There's nothing like having a child with these issues to end ignorance and become fiercely protective.
For 21 years, my son has lived with developmental disabilities. He works so hard at learning...
but his humor and his spirit and his love and his acceptance of others, regardless of ability, is vast.
He wants to be accepted and validated for who he is, just like we all do.
My son HAS Down's, but he ISN'T Downs, and there's a world of difference. He HAS developmental delays, but he isn't a retard. It is only a display of ignorance that would ever use that word, with all of it's harmful and negatively acquired connotations. That word cause a lot of pain to people who cannot change the way they are outwardly different from others.
It is said that what goes round, comes round. The bible says it as you sow, so shall you reap. Spiritually, it's called karma, and eventually, in one way or another, there are things we must learn as human beings.
Perhaps Ben can learn from the many letters he is receiving... that would be the easiest way.
If he ever has to learn this through having a child with learning delays, he will be very blessed, but it will also be very painful for him. He would never want to promote, in any way, anything would would have negative consequences for his child. And I do not appreciate it for my son. |

| 3617 | Anonymous | Thought we'd progressed beyond this,is there no hope for humanity? |
| 3618 | Christine Burke | Not one of these actors would use words of ridicule about race, sexual orientation, or religion -- yet they have started a ridicule campaign involving the most vulnerable population in the world! Amazing really! Accordingly, I will never call them "men" because they have not proven themselves to be so. Further, until they take some of the actions that Melissa Hart has demanded, I will not see this or any other of the movies they are in. They have proven themselves to be Emotionally Disabled, and unfortunately there is no little blue pill to fix that! |
| 3619 | Teri Couch | |
| 3620 | Bruce Elizabeth Ian & Jesse Campbell | If any of you had children with developmental disabilities, and looked at the statistics regarding victimization and violence against them, you'd understand this outpouring of concern. |
| 3621 | Anonymous | A sad proof of our society. |
| 3622 | Linda Stitt | in this day and age, you should know better |

| 3625 | Diane Fields | |
| 3626 | John Burke | While I like many of Jack Black and Ben Stiller's films, there are some sensitive areas affecting vulnerable populations that seem off limits to me. |
| 3627 | Rebecca Wonka | My family and I will not see this movie. |
| 3628 | sherill glassmaker | I am offended for a young dependent adult that i have guardianship of. |
| 3629 | Craig Fischer | Just another reason why a lot of people do not go to the movies anymore. Values and common sense go out the window as long as it can make money. |
| 3630 | Sharyl Abbaspour | I have several friends who have children with severe learning disabilities. They have literally spent their lives to encourage, to educate and to protect their children. There are certain words that we have used in our society to put people down and make them "less" than the rest of us and should never be used at all and "retard" is one of them. You are not only hurting the persons with learning disabilities but their entire families and it's a disgrace. I heard something recently that I thought made great sense when using certain vocabulary and it was "would you teach your child to use a particular word?" Well, this is one of those words that we actually tell our children not to use because it is hurtful. So I ask you...why would you want to popularize a word with the kids who will be seeing your movie? You need to think of the affect of that word on entire families and then not use flimsy excuses as to why you want to make money on the graff that will come to the market from your movie. |
| 3631 | Tina Long | I will never watch another DreamWorks movie or another movie with these characters in it! I have a10 year old son with Down Syndrome and he is the light of my life and I will do everything I can to protect him. Its pretty sad that his 12year old and 8 year old brothers stand up for him and don't let people make fun of him, but then the see grown ups that are supposed to be movie stars making fun of him. You should be ashamed of yourself. |

| 3635 | Jeffrey Mozingo | B&B Theatres is a large chain in the midwest...here's how you can contact them:
Cliff Holbert - Southeastern District Manager; (cliffholbert@embarqmail.com)
Dan Van Orden – B & B Theatres Circuit General Manager; oversees the operations of all B & B Theatres (show@socket.net)
Or better yet, call the corporate office: 816-407-7469 they are in Liberty, MO. |
| 3636 | DeAnn Lockett | I have totally lost respect for Ben Stiller, Jack Black and Robert Downey, Jr.
I would never go to such a purposely distasteful, demeaning movie.
I have a mentally challenged child and this movie perpetrates evil actions of those who 'know' and 'don't know' how to respect all human beings. |
| 3637 | Marlene Moore | |
| 3638 | Lu Stumne | Just very disappointed in this film maker and the remarks used in the film. |
| 3639 | Carmen Long | My family used to use the r word but since my nephew was born that word is no longer allowed. My nephew is 3 years old and he's smart, funny, loveable, and he loves to praise the LORD. If you knew anyone with special needs you too would not use the word and incourage others not to use the word. |
| 3640 | Anonymous | not whatsoever do movies need to be using retard at all. |
| 3641 | Eileen Segebarth | |
| 3642 | Beth McKinley | when it is YOUR child or someone close to your family who has a special child, you WILL understand. |
| 3643 | Esther Frederick | |
| 3644 | Shannon Murphy Robinson | As a mother of a child who has Down Syndrom I am saddened to see that we have made so little progress in raising disability awareness and sending messages that everyone deserves to be valued and respected regardless of what "difference" they may posess. |
| 3645 | Anita Harris | You should be ashamed of yourself! I am disappointed in your lack of discretion. An apology isn't going to take away the hurt already caused nor will it stop the t-shirt campaign. Some pain in the world cannot be prevented; this movie and t-shirts should never have been allowed to see the light of day. |

| 3650 | Marianne Mork | I think it is unfortunate that you cannot come with anything more creative to use as humor in your film. Please reconsider using this term in the future as many (including myself) find "retard" and its connotations and implications due to context offensive. |
