Anonymous | As a mother to a child with Down syndrome, I find this use of language by Dreamworks very offensive. This type of abuse has got to stop.

Anne Eason | My daughter has Down syndrome and this movie is going to be playing in our town. How can it be okay to make fun of individuals with intellectual disabilities?
Mary Marchant |
Lisa Huckleberry |
John Huckleberry | This is just plain wrong.
| 7 | MELISSA BEAUDIN | I am a proud mother of a child with down syndrome. I strongly believe that this movie should not be out for children to see regardless of it's rating. Movies such as these are reasons why children with intellectual disabilities are being bullied in school and are affraid to come out into society!
This is a discrase and there is NO excuse...IT'S NOT FUNNY AT ALL...DREAMWORKS doesn't care, they just want money! |
Cindy & Pat Clark | With your help we can make a difference. These people need to understand what they're doing affects everyone and it's not okay. Thank you for your help.
Anonymous | Please please stop using this word. It is so derogatory towards my darling little angel with Down Syndrome.
Amy Patterson |
Lisa Bartsch | This movie sounds like a waste of time and money. My family and I will not see it. I wish people in Hollywood would spend their, time, money, and energy on making movies that would actually raise awareness, understanding, and acceptance of all people with intellectual disabilities. Instead, the isolated and pampered rich keep getting richer.
Mark Duplin | My son is 12 -years old with Down Syndrome. This garbage must be stopped.

Tiffany Gillis | Being the mother of a handicap child I find this movie very offensive.
Margaret Saraceno | Ben Stiller. I would have hoped your parents raised a better person. IF this movie is as offensive as it has been reported. SHAME ON YOU> I will BOYCOTT whatever I can.
Penny Foster | This is the most pathetic idea for a movie I've ever heard. Stiller, Downey Jr. and every other member of the cast should be ashamed of themselves for participating in this movie. Our family will never see another Dreamworks movie, show, etc.. They have lost our business after stooping so low as this movie is.

Thomas | I am 10 years old and my little brother has Down syndrome. I think that people who use the "r" word are being really mean and hurtful. I want to protect my brother from these people. I don't think movies should be made making fun of people like my brother.
Kaleigh | I'm 8 and my little brother has Down syndrome. I get very upset when I hear people using that word in a mean way. I love my brother. My friends and I think that using that word is very, very mean.

Cecile McVittie | As the parent of a child wih Down syndrome, I choose to support companies and products that portray positive images of people with intellectual challenges. I will avoid Dreamworks products in the future and will pass this quietly on to every parent I know to ensure that this movie and the companies that promote it are financially affected.

Anonymous | It's a movie that's it a movie. I have a brother that has down syndrome, and what happens in a movie doesn't affect his life at all. The same way that someone using the N word doesn't affect our life either. If you continue to let things like this cripple your families then how do you ever expect to grow from it. In life there are many experiences they will face, and sheltering them won't make it go away. Love your families, and let people go have a laugh at the movies.
Scott Guile | is Robert Downey Jr on drugs again? I thought he'd at least be sober enough to know better. The rest of these assholes clearly live in a fantasy land where they think this sort of nonsense is funny. If they are looking to build their following amongst uneducated adolescent boys from suburbia this should go over great, but I'm guessing not so well with most folks.
