| 1 | Angela Schmidt | I live in Germany, but Africa is as close to my heart as anything next door. We are all connected, I totally agree with this statement, and so I want to sign this petition. Angela |
| 2 | Bob Potter | As a past angler who attended numerous anglinf trips in Charara I am appalled that such activity can be allowed. |
| 3 | Martin Kunhardt | I fully support the banning of 'parties' and policing regarding alchohol conmsumption and a complete ban on fireworks |
| 4 | Ann Johnson | I agree with everything in this letter. As we know in the UK only too well, parties and an excess of alcohol are bad news!! |
| 5 | Rae Cecil | This is the first I have heard of this and am very dissapointed in the human race, please ensure this doen't happen again. |
| 6 | G Guimbeau | If people want to party, dont do it in the bush.........this is where man and beasts souls are restored and renewed.............. |
| 7 | Charmaine Nell | There is a place for everything - and the bush is not the place for parties such as this. |
| 8 | Glyn Davies | These parties are placing the lives of animals in danger. |

| 15 | Jan Leese | Game parks are not for parties, they are for game to roam in their own back yard and for the lucky few humans to watch from a distance with the greatest respect. |

| 19 | Rory Wolman | The death of Tusker, is despicable. The authorities should never have allowed any parties or fireworks near Wildlife. I implore the authorities to ban all parties at Charara from now on.

| 20 | Anonymous | I have spent many happy years welcoming the New Year at Tiger Bay (Charara). In recent years my children have attended the celebrations at Charara.
Tusker was special and was their first - it was his home - no human has the right to destroy that! |
| 21 | Anonymous | Please stop all parties on game reserves. Protecting wildlife is far more important than partying or increasing a lodge's income.
Please don't ever let humans torment wildlife again. |
| 22 | Anonymous | they should at least stop the parties - esp after tusker!
obviously the people at the partys can not be in the home of the wildlife peacefully. |

| 24 | Zach Groenewald | The Death and Shooting of Tusker the Elephant was a disgrace. We do not condone what the Authorities or the people at the New Years Eve party Did, that brought upon the Destruction of Tusker. I am hoping that now the People in charge will ban all parties at Charara. |

Ban the Parties.

| 28 | Gavin Fahrenfort | It is unfortunate that this has to be stopped, due to poor management and lack of control, as the kids really have very limited venues to go to now-a-days in Zimbabwe. My wish is that an alternative venue can be sought away from the nature reserve, so that party can go on, just not at Charara, however it should be overseen by local authorities like they do in first-world countries. Mankind has already pushed wildlife around enough on the African continent, and this area is zoned for the animals. The welfare of the animals comes first. |
| 29 | Elaine Sloan | Stop the parties and the KILLING of innocent animals like Tusker |
| 30 | Denise Bennett | This must not be allowed to happen again |

| 41 | Linda Bergman-Althouse | Thank you for everything you do and will continue to do to save these amazing and valuable animals. Elephants have always inspired and motivated me to work with wildlife here in the States. I've been in love with them since childhood and have a number of pictures and statues throughout my home.
I offer my condolences (as well as those from the staff of the Outer Banks Wildlife Shelter where I work in North Carolina) for the loss of Tusker and I will never forget his story. I will share it with young people in the States so they will also realize the loss and to help grow a deep respect for these animals, your animals of Africa and our animals of the world.
With great respect and Sincerity,
Linda Bergman-Althouse |

| 43 | Philippa Turner | I cannot believe that parties are held at a wild life reserve. These people should be horse whipped |
| 44 | Heathclyff St James-Deville | I urge you to sincerely and thoughtfully make the right decision by stopping this party. National Parks are, to my knowledge, established so that the wild animals (what little left we have) have a safe haven.
To allow a party goes counter to this very ethic.
Can you please send me a reply

| 46 | M.Hartwell | For pete's sake, it's a WILDLIFE RESERVE and not a venue for mindless morons..... and who are the brainless wonders who sanctioned the "parties in the park" in the first place. |
| 47 | Julian Begg | The selfish and thoughtless actions of a few slobs led directly to Tusker's shooting death, no let;s call it murder, an unjustified unlawful killing by people who should have known better. Ban the yahoos from ever attending Charara again, in any shape or form. |
| 48 | Christine Lesieur | I agree with the content of this letter. It seems to me more responsible to keep parties away from wildlife.seeing what happened to Tusker. Wildlife Parks are unappropriate places for this sort of venues that perturb and stress the animals. |
| 49 | Alice Stotter | Parks belong to the animals. Respect them.
Don't leave anything but your footfprints.
Don't take anything but your memories.
Think about the generations after us, they will accuse us for not saving the Wild. |
| 50 | Nathalie Langevin | Widlife areas are not the place for big gatherings. We have encroached on wildlife enough as it is, isn't it time to give them some peace?
And I am my brothers keeper, and I will fight his fights; and speak the words for beasts and bird, till the world shall set things right.” ~ Ella Wheeler Wilcox |
