I just refreshed the page and saw we hit 100,000 which is honestly so surreal because I started this on a total whim while staring at my screen and worrying about my dash getting ruined. People keep mentioning how much they love the site layout and I really hope someone in a suit actually listens to us for once because this place matters so much to everyone here.

I really never thought this would gain any traction at all but look at us now. If they actually go through with this they are just going to ruin everything that makes this place work and it is honestly so frustrating to watch it happen in real time.

I can see the counter creeping up toward that big one hundred thousand mark and if we hit it before the board meeting it might actually make someone in a suit blink for once. Honestly I keep refreshing the page every five minutes and getting distracted by my own dash but we truly need a final sprint to get this over the edge so please just tell anyone who will listen that we are not going to take this mess lying down.

I keep staring at the signature count and my stomach just drops knowing how many people are actually worried about this interface disaster. If we hit the ten thousand mark before the board meeting happens today it might actually force someone in power to open their eyes and see we are serious.

It's bad enough that yahoo! Changed to my default browser without me changing the settings on my laptop, but now this? If tumblr needs to make money, do it some other way! There are very few parts of yahoo that I use, and even less than I like. I like tumblr now, and I'm not keen on having one of my least favorite networks take over one of my favorites.
yahoo can NOT take over tumblr! us tumblr users are a family who express our feelings on this app. this app is real non of us are fake (like instagram users). yahoo may think owning tumblr will promote the app but it will just come crashing down and no one will want to use tumblr anymore.
The Tumblr community is a family. We have created many online friendships that help us through are daily lives sometimes. How do you live with yourself, knowing your changing the lives of many users in a way that users don't want to be effected?
If yahoo buys tumblr, it will ruin the aesthetic and individuality that tumblr has to offer in comparison to other social networking sites. Tumblr as a whole is a very tricky balance of things, and if something were to be changed, it would all come crashing down.
I'm getting where I am against yahoo in total. From not working with Interent Explorer 11 to making it where you can't delete questions you wrote, now them trying to buy Tumblr. Gonna ruin that too. I thankfully dumped my yahoo stocks.

Tumblr is a place that is a reflection of the rest of the internet. Maybe a little messed up at times... Okay a lot messed up at times, but overall a wonderful thing. It can help you connect with people who you share interests with/are in a fandom with that maybe no one you know in real life has. To conclude this, Tumblr has changed my life. Please, don't change anything, and leave Tumblr be.
