Stop the weekend construction work in Salisbury, MD. The City Ordinance states that construction may take place on weekdays only. The City Attorney among others have taken it upon themselves to opine that Saturday is a weekday, and therfore include it as an acceptable day to work in residential neighborhoods. Help keep Salisbury City officials in check by having to follow the ordinance THEY created. Help residents of this city be able to enjoy quality quiet time free of all the noise, traffic, and dust these large projects bring with them.

Thanks for your support !!

The city keeps insisting that their interpretation of the law is final even when the noise outside our windows proves otherwise. It is exhausting to fight for simple rest in our own homes but I am not walking away from this.

Reaching this point has been exhausting but I appreciate the validation that I am not alone in this frustration. It is difficult to keep fighting when the city ignores their own language. We have momentum now and I intend to keep pushing forward.

Ordinances are there for a reason. Since when do the rest of us have to suffer because of the darned college. We were here before them. Be fair to the residents who actually work and pay taxes in this community. They deserve their break on the weekend. They have rights too.
