A person is a person no matter how small.
The alarming rate of how many children across the United States of America that have been or are presently being abused, harmed, or taunted by adults such as teachers, mentors, suppose to be role models etc. is in my own opinion disgusting to me. It down right sickens me, my son is a special needs child and until this day I have had all hopes of me being able to protect him from things in the world that would try to harm him until the day that I die. However when he came home from school one day, crying his eyes out complaining that his own teacher smacked him in the face, my own fears of the truth that this world is getting eviler ( my new word) was very disappointing to me, and the fact that the school, board of education etc did nothing, made me feel not only belittled but somewhat helpless. So please if you feel the same way about this matter, or have had a loved one that has suffered at the hands of someone else and no one listened, PLEASE SIGN!
