This is a petition to stop the release of Unfriended ,the horror movie by Universal Pictures set to release on April 17, 2015. This petition is in response to the grossly insensitive nature of the film, which presents the serious issues of teen bullying and teen suicide as entertainment. These types of issues are deeply rooted in the personal lives of countless people, and should as suchbe treated with a certain degree of reverence and respect. This film blatantly denigrates and trivializes theseissues of personal affect for the purpose of mindless and ignorantentertainment. This is not OK.

This is the first thing I've ever petitioned for, as I feel really passionate about this. I am sure I'm not alone in feeling this way.

By supporting this petition, you are supporting the discontinuation of the Unfriended advertisements and the cancellation of this film altogether. Let's do what's right on this one.
