These days, the average high school fundraiser typically involves things like friendly bake sales and magazine subscriptions, but one group in Tennessee is trying to raise money for graduates by KILLING animals! DeKalb County Young Farmers and Ranchers—a Farm Bureau group for people ages 18 to 35—has scheduled a “Giggin’ for Grads” fundraiser for DeKalb County High School in Smithville on July 12.Gigged frogs experience extreme pain and terror when stabbed through their sensitive skin, tissues, and organs. Eventually bleeding out or succumbing to shock or organ failure, these vulnerable animals experience a slow, agonizing death.
