To the Congress of the United States
The act of taking our country to war Syria is unnecessary and would subject our soldiers to needless harm, our economy to unfair costs, and our country to greater danger.
Article I, Section 8 of the U.S. Constitution states that congress alone has the power to declare war.
We the people of the United States support House Concurrent Resolution 107 that declares: should the president use offensive military force without authorization of an act of congress, that such an act would be an impeachable high crime misdemeanor. We must prevent our country from engaging in lethal and costly wars that are not in the interest of our security. We the people of the United States are not beholden to the laws of the United Nations and NATO nor interests of the military industrial complex and international banking institutions, but to our own laws of the U.S. Constitution and the people.
NO MORE WARS. Congress needs to follow the constitution and stop letting these people drag us into messes that have nothing to do with us.
