The United Nations, which formed after the end of world war two, has always given the power of veto to some countries. These countries are called the security council. The five countries are; China, France, Russia,United Kingdom and United States. These countries have stopped numerous votes to save peoples lives! There are no major superpowers left and these countries should not be allowed to have this right to stop international laws because of their own greed.
