We, the tax paying citizens and families that live nearby the West Shore Plaza, are demanding that Dumpster pick-up be done between the hours of 7am -10pm. This is in accordance of the noise ordinances of both the Lemoyne and Camp Hill Borough.

The current situation is, York Disposal is responsible for over 10 dumpsters located in the back of the West Shore Market. This borders a heavy populated neighborhood. They are emptied at approximately 4:30am once or twice a week. The noise that a single dumpster makes when its dropped back onto the surface is as loud as an explosion. Multiply that sound by the amount of Dumpsters they empty each time. What you have then is all the surrounding households of families are awakened to this intrusive and unnerving sound while they are sleeping comfortably. Dogs begin to bark, young children are firghtened and no one sleeps during this. This noise is loud enough to be heard as far west as 18th Street, as far north as Indiana Avenue, as far South as Hummel Avenue and as far East as 10th Street. With warm nights ahead of us, windows will now be open and the noise will not be muffled.

STOP THS NOISE  - MAKE YOU VOICE HEARD LOUD AND CLEAR. TELL THEM YOUR NOT TAKING IT ANYMORE AND THEY ARE IN VIOLATION OF NOISE ORDINANCES. TELL IT TO THE FOLLOWING
