    Comments: One of the reasons I love FB is beacuse it has clean and user-friendly layout, unlike other social media pages. However I find the new TimeLine very confusing and messy. I hope it'll not be compulsory. The users should have their own choice of preference. If they love the new TL, they can go for it, if not, let they be free to use the current version. Tnank you.

    Comments: If you don't have thousands of friends, it can be far easier to just create a new FB profile (may need a new gmail/yahoo email address and tell your friends each day for a few days what the name of your NEW profile is. Then when the timeline downgrade is about hit, just kill the old account - and your new account is ready-to-go with no history - and a good opportunity to not renew old contacts without actively unfriending anyone to hurt feelings.

When the avalance builds up momentum, it will be a force to be reckon with if 40+ million users find an alternative.
