Comments: I know Durness and Cape Wrath well, having visited it at intervals for over 60 years. I want to see ownership vested in the local community who live and work there. The Scottish Democratic Alliance (SDA) will support all moves to that end.

Comments: In this day and age, and particularly when the Scottish Government is taking a fresh look at Land Reform, the MoD shouldn't be allowed to buy any more land in Scotland, particularly an iconic tourist spot like Cape Wrath, the destination of so many walkers on Scottish National Trail and Cape Wrath Trail.

Comments: Cape Wrath is the start/finish point for the NW-SE end to end walk of the British Isles, and it is essential that this alternative route (a better walking route than John O Groats - Lands End) remains publicly accessible throughout its length.
