As citizens of the United States we are all exasperated by constant badgering about economic cuts and budget constraints, and above all, we want a humane nation where life is worth more than money. Financing research institutions not only robs innocents of their lives, it deprives us of much-needed tax dollars and leaves us with damaged humanity. Research using virtual reality and computers can better serve humans and it is much more humane.
