Name: Mona Nolan on Nov 7, 2012Comments: closing the co-op will have a devastating impact on the already dwindling economy in the chase and st anns. The older folks who use it as a life line to get everyday essential run the risk of doing without and having much further to travel. The Coop need to think about the social impact on the community. I also feel sorry for the staff of the coop who will be with out a job coming up to the Christmas season!Flag

Name: Rebecca Rowson on Nov 8, 2012Comments: I think its truley disgraceful of co op to close their store in st anns. I also believe that there most current advert with the slogan “we are here for you” is an absolute disgrace. I think they should have the book thrown at them from trade descriptions! First co op in carlton closes then the st anns one. Get a new advert co op. What your doing to the local community is disgusting...Flag

Name: Dr Charlotte Harrison on Nov 9, 2012Comments: It would be a real shame for the co-op to go. Maybe it would help to address reasons why it is going, and look to help to develop the shop to make it more resistant to shop-lifting and the produce more appropriate for those on lower incomes. This could be a real opportunity to invest in a community in a positive way.Flag

Name: Helen Marsden on Nov 9, 2012Comments: It is incredibly sad that the Co-op is planning to close down its store in St. Anns. I choose to shop at the Co-op because of its support for Fair Trade producers and the boycotting of Israeli goods. It will also have a tremendously negative effect on the local area and local workers. Please reverse this decision.Flag
